Thank you for posting this!! So many interesting things happening on this. FCA is considered American, Daimler and Tata have revenues that are disgustingly high for their perceived sizes, Elon Musk is worth double Tesla’s revenue, tons of great stuff here!
The biggest thing is looking at Geely’s revenue, looking at how much they have gotten done, and realizing what a humongous financial advantage China gives you when it comes to bang for buck.

This is exactly what I thought. Maybe not monetarily, but the chart says "Most Cars." Surely, worldwide, Mazda builds more cars than Tesla.

I don’t like the way they dealt with the dead brands, it’s like giving FCA credit for stuff that happened 80 years ago. But on a 2-dimensional snapshot there’s only so much you can do.

I’d never heard of McLaughlin before. Being absorbed into GM really is the kiss of death for a lot of brands.
